SHRIEK!!!

Boston College is ranked #3 in the BCS and AP!!! I just fainted!

Better go to http://sports.espn.go.com/ncf/rankingsindex for the whole list, Pumpkin. I'm off for a celebratory toddy!

Marjorie, my dear... I remain an Alabama fan but offer you sincere congratulations on BC's success--most any team that whacks Notre Dame is OK in my book! Best of luck fighting the PR machine of Ohio State (I suspect the other team will take care of itself this weekend...)

Well, there is a gigantic satisfaction to making ND lose again. 5th year in a row (and AU has the lock on Fear the Thumb!) I'm still an AL fan as I attended there prior to scooting off to BC. Great parties at both places. Haven't done the student party thing at Auburn, but have done plenty of tailgating there. I pull for them, too. I just love, love, love SEC football. Doesn't get any better anywhere else. I am beyond thrilled that BC and VA Tech are ACC teams these days. Certain credibility in that conference. Absolutely a step up from the Big East (sorry Syracuse and Pitt- love you still. Kisses!) Yes, the #1 and #2 ranked teams seem to have the kiss of death surrounding them lately, although, I wouldn't stomp off in high-heeled protest if BC were named to either post next week. We could break the curse!! (says the dedicated graduate.) The BC-VA Tech game Thursday should be a good match up (perhaps an ACC Championship preview?). I'm contemplating pulling a kid out of a soccer game Thursday evening just so we can watch that game at home. The only hesitation I have is that a dad on that team is a VA Tech grad and I wouldn't want him to think I was intimidated. 'Cause I'm not. AT ALL.

Of course Ohio is ranked #1. Does that take ANY imagination? No.

And all you people thought I was some fluff-brained chick interested in wine and hair bows. As you can see, I'm a well-rounded fluff-brain with many interests and a degree from Boston College interested in wine (my hair's too short for bows, not that I'd consider wearing one). Back Away From The Keg and No On Will Get Hurt!
